LAND AREA : 128,755 hectares
The Province of Cavite is located on the southern shores of Manila Bay in the Southern Tagalog, just 30 kilometers south of Manila. It is bounded on the north by Manila Bay and Metro Manila, on the east by Laguna, on the west by the South China Sea, and on the south by Batangas.
The portion of the province bordering Manila bay consist of lowlands or flat lying areas. The central portions is characterized by rolling and undulating lands. The rest are upland or hilly and mountainous areas. Tagaytay Ridge has the highest elevation at 640 meters above the sea level.

Note : The LRT Line 1 South Extension Project, through southern Metro Manila to the                          Province of Cavite is under Construction. The project aims to expand the existing LRT              Line 1 service southward to the cities of Parañaque and Las Piñas and the adjoining                  municipalities of Bacoor, Imus and the city of  Dasmariñas, in the Province of Cavite.
